In order that we can serve you and our associates, it is necessary for us to collect certain information.  This information may include identifying information such as name and address, but may include other information for business purposes as we see as necessary.

We use the information for a number of purposes.  These include collection of information so that we can provide the best and most up to date products and services for you; to comply with any applicable laws; market research; internal administrative purposes; to ensure our associates operate within our proceduresand the law and to ensure that our confidentiality processes are maintained.  You will also appreciate that there may be from time to time further or other uses for the information.

3.    Its Collection

We collect information principally from information provided to us by you.  However, we may collect further information about you from some of the sources you provide us, or by the methods authorised by you and permitted by the Privacy Act.

4.    Its Distribution

We will not, except as authorised by you or the Privacy Act, allow any person access to this information by way of sale of, rental of or access to the databases maintained by us.  In certain circumstances, the information may be passed between members of the City Finance Group, but in all cases the only persons with authorisation to access the information with appropriate training and an acknowledgement of their responsibilities is permitted access.

5.    Its Safety

City Finance operates state of the art computer systems which are as secure as we can make them.  No access to any information held by us is given to any person by any automated process (such as via the Internet).  We are happy to provide you with details of the information we hold about you, and should there be any incorrect information we will do our best to correct the information immediately.
